The Grand voyage to touch China for the first time.

For the first time in its history, an MSC ship will call in Shanghai, China.
On may 1st 2016, the MSC Lirica will reach the Chinese shores for an exclusive premiere, and after 40 days of maiden voyage across Europe and Asia.
An itinerary that definitely covers some of the World’s most charming corners, from the preciously unique Mediterranean and the mysterious East.
This is not just any new destination though: lately, MSC has opened a new route to Cuba after decades away from the map, and many more destinations will come in the future, as a result of the Company's adamant resolution to open up the whole world to the eyes and hearts of our travelers.

For them, a Grand Voyage is definitely a no-brainer.

Two different versions of it, with Shanghai as final destination, will be offered to cruise lovers and eager travellers from 21 August 2015, departing from Genoa or Dubai.

Before setting sail, the MSC Lirica will be fully renovated and enlarged under the Renaissance Programme, which entails a comprehensive overhaul program due November 2015.

The ship will leave Genoa on March 21th 2016 and sail along Naples, Crete, Aqaba, Muscat, the United Arab Emirates, Goa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan, and Shanghai all together…if you can!

We bet you can’t, so just hop on board and get ready to sail basically the entire world with us.
